Database Project
Using WordPress and HTML, we worked with the client to develop a brand new website, as well as a backend database, where the team could manage data for each medical practice they work with.
Our client has a 50-80 person strong team and was experiencing challenges around slow query speeds, user conflict and a lack of proper functioning redundancy and backups. To understand how we could provide a solution, we focused on how our clients worked day to day, how their teams interacted with one another, as well as their customers and worked to understand their existing technologies, in addition to the pitfalls they were causing.
We listened to how our client would use the software we’d be creating and explored which technologies would work with their existing capabilities, by running options through user cases and stories.
Once we had an idea of the type of software we needed to build, we created wireframes and mock-ups of databases, which our client was able to interact with and test for themselves. This was one of the most important stages of the project, as it allowed us to establish whether the end product would be fit for purpose and we were able to refine our designs accordingly. Once the design and database were approved by the client, our team began the development cycle.
